Have Hope Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Have Hope Foundation Federal Identification Number is 26-4431022. You can help give hope to children's lives by making donation to Have Hope Foundation. All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the IRS Guidelines.

Your Donation will help support the following programs:

  • Residential Child Care – Orphans or girls and boys from destitute families are admitted to hostels where care, which is normally provided within a family, is given. Education, spiritual well-being and eventual reintegration of the beneficiaries are the major preoccupations.
  • Child family Reunification & Integration – This is a program whereby children have been under residential care are re-united with biological parents, relatives, or guardians as the support continue. However, not all children/youth that are under reunification program have been under residential care.
  • Reintegration – This program is primarily designed for those over 18 years of age and lives either in-groups or alone in rented houses. Youth under this program are mainly those in colleges, vocational training center, or universities. They live in the community like anybody else but are paid a monthly stipend to take care of their livelihoods.
  • Community development & family empowerment program – This is a pilot program designed to benefit women headed families. The program consider credit schemes for families to generate own incomes through petty trades such as food processing, grains, livestock restocking, retailing of paraffin and other household items.
  • Community based child support - This is a pilot program in one operational area (Addis Ababa, Genet Yesus) which is primarily designed to assist the community through education, health care, income generating activities, etc., by taking the child as an entry point and stipend is one means among others. The program addresses the needs of disadvantaged children in relation to access to health care and nutrition, education, psychosocial development and economic empowerment to ensure the bringing of healthy, socially adjusted, and productive citizens.
  • Hospital – EOC-CFAO clinic was started in 1980, but has since been reorganized to become a Hospital
  • Hope Center – This program aims to address the violence amongst youth in Oakland. The center will provide a safe haven for after school assistance. It will be a center full of resources that will link the community to all other organization to better service their needs.

Join us in breaking the cycle! Volunteers are vital to the Have Hope Foundation mission of helping give children hope of a better and brighter future. If you are a committed and passionate individual who would like to help us spread the word about Have Hope Foundation?

Here are a few things you can do:

 

  1. Pass out or mail sponsorship brochures to family members, friends or partners (fellow students, co-workers, or business affiliates).
  2. Hold an event in your community, school, place of worship, workplace, or anywhere else you can think of, to promote the work of Have Hope Foundation and help raise funds.
  3. Introduce Have Hope Foundation staff to a media connection, business, government official, celebrity or other person/entity of influence you know personally to help raise awareness.
  4. Participate in a focus group for targeting our market outreach efforts.
  5. Hold a home sponsor party – we will equip you with information and materials to make it a successful event (Think Tupperware, but for a better cause). Make the event solely about Have Hope Foundation or combine it with an event you’re already having (book club, Mary Kay party, Jewelry party, etc.)
