Have Hope Foundation Goal for 2010 is to open a youth Center in the City of Oakland on order to keep kids away from violence and gang activities.

Mission Statement

To provide at-risk, youths and young adults access to information and activities to help improve their academic performances, self-esteem, self-confidence, and their decision-making ability with the help of Arts, Music and Sports. Providing parents and caregivers access to information, resources and support for building happy, healthy families.

Vision

Have Hope Foundation’s Youth Center will work to decrease the incidence of criminal and violence activities by youths and young adults by helping them to develop better decision-making ability, conflict resolution and coping skills. In addition, the Center will provide alternative learning opportunities, to help youths to improve their academic performance in school and inspiring them to further their education or vocational training while fostering understanding between diverse cultural groups.

In mobilize communities to get more involved in the safety, and the general well being of all children, teens and young adults, Have Hope Foundation’s Youth Center will serve to promote hope within the urban community.
